She recently visited her godfather, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the President of Ghana and officially introduced her bouncing baby boy. She also used the opportunity to congratulate him for his victory in the December 7 election.

Maltida had despite carrying a developing baby for six months campaigned energetically to ensure Nana Addo becomes president – which eventually came to pass.

Whilst many saw the development as inappropriate for entertainers to declare their support for political parties, the highly creative and talented Kumawood star together with veteran actor Agya Koo went ahead to launch “Agya Koo Agenda 57% for Nana Akufo-Addo” the result of which has turned positive for Nana Addo.
