Comedian I Go Die: Biography And Net Worth

Francis Agoda, popularly known as I Go Dye or I Go Die, is a famous Nigerian Comedian with a vision. He is a motivational speaker, writer and social crusader.

He was born April 4, 1979 in Abraka, Delta State, Nigeria. He grew up in Okpara water side with his grand Mother, Queen Agnes.

The numerous challenges facing his rural community and Nigeria in general motivated him to the limelight of comedy and publications to address some burning issues confronting mankind.

 

 

I Go Die Educational Background
I go die had his primary and secondary school education at Ighogbadu primary school and College of Commerce, Warri Delta State.

He was awarded a scholarship to study Structural Engineering at New York University by the Delta State Government.

I Go Die Comedy Career
I Go Die kick-started his comedy journey in 1992 as a young kid.
He featured professionally and prominently in Africa biggest comedy show ‘Night of A Thousand laughs, year 2000 edition and made the comedy show popular and widely accepted.

I Go Die brilliant performance at the show eventually earned him honour by the producer of Night Of A Thousand Laugh, Mr Opa Williams as the most outstanding comedian to have featured on stage for a decade.

At a young age, I Go Die met the then first executive governor of Delta State Olorogun Felix Ibru after he exhibited an usual creativity and foresight to invent an Hover craft ship, radio transmitter, hair dryer, projector, electric solar table fan and flying helicopter.

That made him the first African child to have built a flying helicopter and moving Hover craft ship”. His exemplary artistry has not only earned him fame and awards but has continued to promote global peace and child welfare.

I Go Die has organized several successful local and International comedy shows such as “I Go Dye Standing.”

From 1994, the duo of I Go Die and I Go Save both started presenting mock news in Delta Broadcasting Service, where they addressed several issues affecting the society.

Later in life, I Go Die got a contract as a Stand-up comedian at Prest Motel in Benin City where he was paid some money per show, while he also broaden his horizon in different events in Nigeria after years of exploring his creativity.

In 2005, I Go Die embarked on his first European tour with Ehizoya Golden Entertainment. The tour took him to seven countries. He was later contracted by (NIDOE) France to perform at the UNESCO Cultural Week in Paris France and was given an award for his wonderful contribution to the development of Nigeria Cultural value by Niddo Spain.

The exceptionally creative and talented Comedian is hilarious, wonderfully gifted to make people laugh and forget their sorrows. He has featured in the MTV Africa Music Awards.

I Go Die has also performed at different shows with various notable musicians including Akon, Boyz II Men, 50-Cent, Rick Ross, The Game, and Kelly Rowland.

I Go Dye is a prolific comedian, talented with outstanding qualities in the comedy industry, known for entertaining high profiles like Governors, Presidents and Diplomats.

I Go Die also performed at the 2018 National Council of Nigeria Traditional Rulers, held in Port Harcourt with The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III, Ooni of Ife Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi and many other notable traditional rulers in Nigeria.

He is an Ambassador to the United Nations Millennium Development Goals, working assiduously to actualize the United Nations’ objectives.

Social Crusader
I Go Die is a social crusader. He had fallen victim in a bid to correct some of the ills in the society. In the conflict that ensued, he was shot, losing some of his close friends. No doubt, this has made that tragic experience to change his perception.

On the 1997 Warri crisis between the Ijaw’s and Itsekiri people, I Go Die championed the path of peace project, during which he shot a 10 minute documentary short film in 2004 for United Nations and the Federal government of Nigeria to promote peace and advocate for rural development.

He has also used his publication to lend his voice and provided solutions to world leaders and Nigerian elites. His open letter to mark the United Nations Youth day in 2017 titled Logic and Reason without guns to Nigeria Government, Governors Militant and Youth.

I go dye has continued to be an advocate for the African Youths, promoting a new political ideology that will bring the youths into governance.
He also advocated for youth leadership in Zimbabwe and Liberia where he advocated for youthful leadership.
