Ebele Okaro Onyiuke is a popularly known Nollywood actress, movie producer and humanitarian.
She was born on January 19, 1964 in London and raised in Enugu in south eastern Nigeria. Her mother was a full-time television producer and her father, an engineer who had great interest in arts and literature.
Okaro had her primary and secondary education at Santa Maria Primary School and Nsukka’s Queen of the Holy Rosary Secondary School where she obtained her first and secondary school certificates respectively.
She later bagged a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts at the University of Calabar, Cross River State.
Her Acting Career
Okaro made her entry into acting dated back to her days in the primary and secondary school when she used to perform stage dramas in her school.
Okaro’s strong passion for acting grew over time and after her graduation, did her National Youth Service at the Nigerian Television Authority, where she learnt some skills in acting and made several television appearances.
She worked briefly with an embassy in Lagos and later in a bank before venturing fully into acting.
