Eyinna hails from Imo State, Nigeria though date and year of his birth are not known. He is the son of a retired public servant and the last of four children.

Eyinna Nwigwe made his entry into entertainment world as a runway model while still in the university.
He later transcended to the sought after print advertising model.
Eyinna over time ventured into acting and made his first acting debut in “Wheel of Change” (2004) directed by the famous movie producer, Jeta Amata who noticed his budding acting skills.
Eyinna’s brilliant performance paved the way for his subsequent roles in movies winning the hearts of many.
He has so far starred in several Nollywood movies, some of which include the lead in Amata’s “Mary Slessor” (2004) television series which centred on the preservation of the Nigerian culture and history.
Other movies include his role of a gay attorney in “Reloaded” (2007), the philandering bachelor in “Bachelors” (2006-2008) TV, Black Gold (2012), Turning Point (2012), Silver Rain (2015), “Black November” co-starring Oscar winner Kim Basinger, Mickey Rourke, Vivica A. Fox, Akon, Wyclef and Anne Heche.
The talented Nigerian actor also featured in riveting American film by Amata which depicted the violence, corruption, and human injustice in the Niger Delta and many others. The movie was very successful and shot him to global recognition.
In 2016, Eyinna made another giant stride in what is widely acclaimed as record-breaking movie, “The Wedding Party”. Is rated one of the highest grossing West African film in recent time with over 200 million Naira.
The movie received the attention from international film festivals including it’s special ‘Spotlight’ at Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
Enyinna Nwigwe has also featured in Hollywood, shooting American King (2017) co-starring Akon, Andrew Howard, Nick Moran, and Miguel Nunez in Los Angeles.
Eyinna is also a producer with a number of movie productions to his credit, including the movie, ‘Mary Slessor’ he co-produced. He has worked with top and most respected producers and directors in the movie industry both within Africa and Overseas at large.
Aside entertainment, Enyinna is a shrewd businessman. His creativity and versatility have made him stand out as well as putting the Nigerian movie industry in the forefront among community of nations by bringing his acquired wealth of experience into it.
Andy or Yina, as he is fondly called by his friends, is currently based in Abuja. He now shuttles Lagos and Los Angeles. He enjoys keeping fit by playing tennis.
