Osama Akpunonu popularly known as Osama (PCFR) meaning Packaged Comedian of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, based in Jos, Plateau State where he organizes his own Comedy show, ‘Rhythm of Laughter’.
Osama was born in Ibadan, Oyo State. Year of his birth not known. Osama hails from Irrua, Edo State, the first born in a family of six children. He grew up in Kainji in Niger State.

Osama Akpunonu did part of his secondary school in Kainji, later in Edo State before he came to Ilorin in Kwara State.
He later attended Federal Polytechnic, Bida in Niger State, Pre-ND in Business Studies in Jos, Plateau State and finally obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Jos.

Osama Akpunonu began his comedy skit as an undergraduate in the University with the help of his close friend, Comedian Njoku Bethel fondly known as Senator.

Osama Akpunonu is not yet married. He revealed in an interview that his ideal woman must be Intelligent, creative, supportive, must support him in his profession and ministry. Again, she must be obedient, loving, respectful, truthful and above all beautiful.
Osama who is currently based in Jos with colour beard as his trade mark has been able to carve out a niche and something unique for himself.
