Bucie, known by her stage name, has her birth name as Busisiwe Nolubabalo Nqwilliso. She is a popularly known award-winning South African R&B and Soulful house singer.

Bucie was born on March 10, 1987 in Kimberly. She grew up in Klerksdorp in South Africa.
