Charma Gal was born on November 1984 in her own country Botswana in a small village called Lerala. Charma Gal grew up there and had her elementary and higher education respectively.

Charma Gal ventured into music in 2005 thrilling her numerous fans with her hit songs. She is one of the most successful Motswana artistes till date.
She began as one of the founding members of the group Culture Spears, which was founded in 2005. She left the group to form her own group, called Eke Ntolo, which has so far released several albums.
Charma Gal has since released several hit albums, most notably ‘Keya Mmokolodi’, which means “I am going to Mmokolodi.” in 2017 and ‘Lekgamu La Bananyana’ in November 2018 and many others.
The 2018 album, “Lekgamu La Bananyana” was released through Charma Gal Productions. The title track of the album, which made it to the Yarona Fm Top 20 Count Down and peaked at No. 10.
Her latest album is called Personal Code and was released in 2019.
Charma Gal is such a beautiful, creative and talented music star. She has collaborated with various top artistes including Jah Prayzah on the song ‘Dalie Wami’ and also featured on Master Kg’s single ‘Nsalelel le ngwana’ in 2018.

In an interview, Charma Gal revealed that she attempted to commit suicide during the time she was married to Kabelo. According to The Voice BW, Charma Gal took overdose pills to try and kill herself because of the stress she suffered in the marriage.
