He was born November 5, 1948 at Teshie, Accra, Ghana. Fred grew up in Ghana and had his primary and higher education respectively.

In 2015, Fred starred in a Netflix movie ‘Beasts of No Nation’ where he played the role of a “Pastor”. He also played the role of Pastor Uchebo in The Cursed Ones, a British award-winning movie.
