Ijeoma Aniebo is a popularly known talented Nollywood actor, writer, dancer, presenter, movie producer and blogger, known for movies like Remembrance of a Forgotten Man (2022), Papa Joe (2018) and Coming from Insanity (2019) respectively.
She was born in Enugu State, but grew up in Port Harcourt, Rivers State where her parents lived.
Ijeoma’s Educational Background
Ijeoma attended The Playpen Child Development Centre, Rumuibekwe, Port Harcourt and the University Demonstration Secondary School, University of Port Harcourt, for her secondary education.
She also attended Federal Government Girls College, Owerri, Imo State and University of Port Harcourt where she graduated with a degree in English Studies.
She also trained at New York Film Academy and the Kings Theatre Limited where she had courses in acting.
Ijeoma Aniebo’s Acting Career
Ijeoma began her career as a dancer when he formed a dance group called Renegades with which she performed throughout her University days.
After graduation from the University, Ijeoma moved to Lagos and went into TV presenting and acting in 2007.
Ijeoma worked with impressive communication companies like HITV, the indigenous Cable TV station for about two and half years before she resigned.
She has also anchored several shows, covered red carpet events, hosted live shows, anchoring the live broadcast for The Experience 2009, Africa’s largest live concert which was broadcasted live for 12 hours in Nigeria and the UK.
Ijeoma Aniebo made a full career in acting in 2013 and has since played exceptional roles in movies.
She has so far starred in several Nollywood movies including Deadline (2014), Our Best Friend’s Wedding (2017), Elevator Baby (2019) among numerous others..
That same year she wrote and co-produced two short films, 6:30pm and Drip Drop Nemesis, one of which made it to the top 20 list in the Afrinolly Short Film Competition.
She has also featured in a good number of stage and television series including the production of Bobo Omotayo’s ‘London Life, Lagos Living’ and Terrence Tyrone’s play ‘Private lies, Mad King of Ijudiya, Lion and the Jewel, Deadline, Hard Times and many others.

The beautiful and versatile Nollywood actress revealed that the Nigerian movie industry is growing and changing, though with some challenges like bad casting, incompetent player of roles and others. She sums up by stating that she has learnt a lot in the industry.
In an interview with the Punch Newspaper, Ijeoma revealed that she loves fashion. According to her, “I’m not dramatic, so I like simplicity. I have a bevy of people who influence my style, so they help me go out of my comfort zone. I believe in being dressed appropriately for every event”.
She also expressed her interest in music, saying “I’m called Declectic for a reason. I love music, so I sing. I love dancing and used to choreograph but not anymore. I love reading and I write. I enjoy watching movies and I really like sleeping”.

Ijeoma Aniebo’s is not yet married. She revealed she actually got more admirers with age. She is however believed to be in a relationship which she does not flaunt in the public or on social media.
She stated further that her relationship with men is different from the way the society sees it, saying, “I was told that the older a lady gets, the less suitors she has. This hasn’t happened to me, as I’ve actually got more admirers with age. When I was younger, I was more polite and used to entertain their advances. Now, I don’t have the time for that, though I indulge people to some degree. I try to not be rude but I’m firm enough to object to their advances. It hasn’t however interfered with my job or endangered me on any level”.
