Chinonso Young Umesiobi is her real full name, but widely addressed as Chinonso Young. She is a popularly known Nigerian actress, singer and stylist who has featured in Nigerian famous Tv series, ‘Lekki Wives’ alongside Adaora Ukoh, Katherine Obiang, Keira Hewatch and Anthony Monjaro.

She was born on December 8, 1987. Her actual place of birth is not known, but she is of an Igbo decent. Her educational background is also not available.

 

Chinonso Young’s Acting Career

Chinonso began her first acting job in 2007, a stage production titled, “A Voice for Ella”, where she played the role of a wicked step-sister. The movie was produced by Isioma Onochie Aihie and directed by Solomon Macaulay.

She has since starred on a good number of the TV series like “My Mum and I” and played the character Nkoyo, did Tinsel, a soap for MNET Africa and played a crazy and delusional character, Ngozi.

Chinonso also did a short film called the “Line Up”, where she portrayed the character of Fola, a woman pimp, who trafficked young boys.

She has also starred in numerous Nollywood movies and television soap such as Tinsel, My Mum and I and also the short film “Line Up”.
