Roy Egekwu is a talented Nigerian gospel singer, song writer, actor and real estate consultant.
Row was born into a Christian family of Egekwu on the 1st of November, 1984 in Lagos State. He hails from Abia state in south eastern Nigeria.

Roy Egekwu attended St. Michael Boys Secondary School, Ozubulu, Anambra State and Government Senior College, Eric Moore, Surule, Lagos State.
He later Studied Economics and Statistics Education at the University of Benin in 2007.

Roy Egekwu was the first runner up in the MTN Project Fame season 4 competition in 2011. Though he didn’t win the competition, he expressed satisfaction and gratitude to God for the opportunity to showcase his talent which ordinarily would have been dead in him.
The competition Roy emphasized, shot him to fame and recognition in the music industry.
Roy Egekwu is also a brilliant actor. He has featured in several Nollywood movies and television series with good delivery of roles.
Prior to the competition, he worked at Mega plaza in a Communication Company named Moon Walker at the Lagos Island as a Customer Service official.
He currently owns his own business which he combines alongside his musical career.

Roy Egekwu got married to the love of his life, Iheoma Jessica Ijeoma on the 12th of December, 2020 and they reside currently in Lekki Ajah area of Lagos State.
