Ijeoma Richards is a popular Nollywood actress, movie producer and definitely one of the hottest faces in the industry.

Ijeoma Richards also doubles as the president of Nollywood Creative Minds Forum (NCMF).

She grew up in Lagos and other places, but Lagos in her revelation, was her socialisation habitat where she also had her primary and secondary education respectively. Date, year and actual place of her birth are however not known.

Ijeoma Richards Acting Career

Ijeoma made her entry into Nollywood some years back, precisely when she had a life-changing fate at age 15 and made a u-turn from science related courses to acting.

She became widely and professionally known in the movie industry when she acted her first ever movie, ‘Living in Oblivion’.

Ijeoma has since starred in several Nollywood movies. She is indeed beautiful, creative and talented with good interpretation of movie roles. She acts in both Igbo and English movies.

Ijeoma Richards is the president of Nollywood Creative Minds Forum (NCMF), an acronym for Nollywood Creative Minds Forum and was set up by Emeka Okoye, Bukky Thomas and of course her humble self.

The body is charged with the responsibility of supporting members in all spheres of growth by ensuring exposure to opportunities such as work, trainings and personal growth among others.

NCMF also has short film projects produced by members who are divided into clusters and some notable Nollywood practitioners who are NCMF members include Keppy Ekpenyong Bassey, Ngozi Nwosu, Ugezu Ugezu, Charles Inojie, Yemi Blaq, Ebere Okaro, Kalu Ikeagwu, Tunde Olaoye, Greg Ojefua, Chinyere Nwabueze, Lekan Ayinde and many others.

Ijeoma Richards cites the likes of Mo’ Abudu, Ngozi Nwosu and Taiwo Ajai-Lycette as her role models. She described them as marvelous and great influencers in her chosen career.

Her Personal Life

Ijeoma Richards is not yet married, but revealed she was in a happy relationship.

In an interview, Ijeoma revealed that her “ideal man must be honest, resourceful and educated”.

The talented Nollywood star further stated that she was in love of her acting job so much that she “finds pockets of happiness in executing different projects at different times”.

According to her, she has received compliments on her delivery of roles which ultimately is the source of her joy and encouragement in the profession.
