Joy Nice hails from Akwa Ibom. She is the last child in her family who grew up under a very protective environment. Joy revealed that though she was pampered, she was not a spoilt child as she would be disciplined each time she did wrong. Date of her birth is however not known.

Joy Nice got into acting in 2010 when she went for an Emem Isong audition in Surulere, Lagos State.

On her choice of fashion, Joy stated that she does not follow trends but wear what she is comfortable in. According to her, “her mode of dressing is usually determined by where I am going. I love to be simple and comfortable while also looking good at the same time”. She prefers her sister, Lapax Fashion, CLAN and Lanre Da Silva, she concluded.
