Queen Mercy Atang is a Nigerian ex-beauty Queen, model, humanitarian and one of the contestants of the Big Brother Naija 2023, Season 6 Housemates, tagged: ‘Shine Ya Eye’.

She was born on June 11, 1994 in Akwa Ibom State. Queen is one of four children in a family from Ibibio tribe in Akwa Ibom State in south southern Nigeria. She was raised by a single mother who she loves so much.

 

Educational Background

Queen Mercy Atang attended Government Secondary school, Eket, Akwa Ibom State. She later graduated from Tansian University, Oba-Umunya in Anambra State.

Her Career

Queen Mercy began her career as a beauty pageant in 2013 at the young age of 19.

She thereafter emerged the Face of Democracy, Southern Nigeria Queen in 2014, Miss Nigeria International 2015 and Miss International World Classic in 2017 winner respectively.

Queen is also a humanitarian. She has a foundation named Queen Mercy Foundation, a platform she set up on December 20, 2019 to help the less priviledged by providing school materials, borehole and other good projects in her community.

In an interview, the beauty star referred to herself as a true leader, excellent communicator, peaceful, courageous and fearless personality.

She also sees herself as a role model to the younger generation, especially in her home town, her state and the entire country at large.

Queen Mercy is indeed naturally beautiful, free from all forms of artificial addictives like makeup, plastic surgery and bleaching which are common with several young ladies of today.

Her Relationship

Queen Mercy is not yet married. She is currently based in Eket in Akwa Ibom State, believed to be in a relationship which she does not flaunt in the public or social media.
