Actress Gloria Anozie Young is a Nigerian popular actress, producer, director and a business woman. She hails from Umuahia, Abia State in south eastern Nigeria.
She was born on the 4th of February, 1967 in Umuhia, Abia State in south eastern Nigeria. She is famous with a movies ‘Back to Life’, and ‘The Soul that Sinneth’ in 1999.
Educational Background
Gloria had her primary and secondary education in Fountain School, Surulere, Lagos State where she obtained her first and secondary school certificates respectively. She later went for a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from a university in Dallas, USA. The actress returned to Nigeria in 1987 and worked as an energy correspondent with the Daily Times before joining the Nigerian Movie Industry.
Her Acting Career
Gloria had a humble beginning in acting when she started off as an entertainer on the ‘Charly Boy Show’, a comedy skits. She, however, came to prominence after she featured in a movie “Glamour Girls”, directed by Nnebue Kenneth.
Gloria Anozie Young has been a part of the Nigerian movie industry for over twenty years since her journey into Nollywood in 1992.
She played the role as Doris in the movie in 1994 alongside talented actors like Dolly Unachuckwu, Babara Odoh, Liz Benson, Eucharia Anunobi, Zack Orji, Sola Fosudo, Tina Amuzian, late Jennifer Okere, Ernest Obi, Ngozi Ezeonu, Keppy Ekpeyong Bassey, Pat Attah and Sandra Achums.

Gloria got married to Nollywood veteran, a name she derived by virtue of being married to Nobert Young. The marriage is blessed with a beautiful daughter.
She marked her golden jubilee in 2017 and her silver jubilee in Nollywood with a novelty match played at the National Stadium between the Nollywood actresses and Nollywood actors.
