Judith Audu whose real full name is Judith Emike Foght is a popular Nigerian actress, movie producer, presenter, model, entrepreneur and a blogger.
She was born on the 1st of July 1984 in Ojo, Lagos to a Naval officer Audu Ali Audu and her mother Gift Salamat Audu. She is the second child and only daughter in a family of three children.
Educational Background
Judith had her primary and secondary education in Navy Town, Ojo Lagos where she obtained her first and secondary certificates respectively between 1993 and 1999. She went further to have National Diploma (ND) in French Language School in Badagry, Lagos and a Bachelor’s degree in French at the University of Lagos.
She later proceeded to the same University of Lagos where she bagged a Master’s degree in Public Administration and International Affairs in 2010.
Her Acting Career
Judith Audu joined Nollywood in 2004 and formally registered with the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN). After attending series of auditions, she began acting and got a role in a Ghetto movie “Tears of the Ghetto”, a movie produced and directed by Femi Ogedegbe.
She rose to fame after starring in a television series “Emerald”. In the movie, she played the role of Mofe alongside Carol King, Joseph Benjamin, Lilian Esoro, Femi Branch among others.
She also featured in a television drama “Tinsel” where she played the role of a gynecologist.
She is skillful, creative and exceptionally talented actress. She can fit into any role assigned her by movie producers and directors in the industry and she is very good at interpreting movies roles.
Judith has acted over a 100 Nollywood movies and television series, some of which include House Apart, Queen’s Drive, Comfort Zone, Rush, Life Is Beautiful, Case File, Funtime, Burning Spears, Tinsel, Huzzel, 4 Walls and several others.
She is also a producer and has produced a number of movies namely “Not Right”, her first popular movie she acted alongside Omowunmi Dada and Philip Festus.
In May 2016, she again produced and directed her first ever full-length film “Just Not Married” in her production company – Judith Audu Productions. The movie was highly successful with large volume of sales and she acted alongside the big stars in the industry like Gregory Ojefua, Obutu Roland, Rotimi Salami, Stan Eze, Ijeoma Agu, Brutus Richard, Perpetual Adefemi and others.
The movie also earned her an award for best actress at the Best of Nollywood Awards in 2016.
As a presenter, she has anchored a number of programmes on radio and television including the famous radio programme meet the actor with Judith Audu where she chats personally with actors across the globe.
She is also a successful blogger and has impacted the lives of many up-coming Nigerians through her inspirational teachings.
