Regina Askia Williams, whose real name is Imabong Regina Usoro is a dual citizen of Nigeria and America. She is an actress, educational activist, television producer, writer, public speaker, a model and a nurse practitioner based in the U.S.
She was the former beauty Queen and actress who rose to fame after venturing into acting and modeling. She has been in the movie industry for over 3 decades doing very well, though she has suddenly disappeared from the entertainment world.
Regina was born in Lagos in 1967. She hails from Ukanafun, a small community in Akwa Ibom State in the south southern Nigeria.
Educational Background
Regina had her basic primary and secondary education in Lagos state where she obtained her first and secondary school certificates respectively.
She later went to the University of Calabar but finally completed her tertiary education in University of Lagos where she bagged a degree in Biology and won the Miss UNILAG Beauty Pageants.
Her Acting Career
Regina kick-started her acting career in 1993 in Nigerian Soap Fortunes and later Fortunes on NTA network where she featured as Tokunbo Joshua. In this movie, she played the role of a gold digger. Her brilliant performance shot her to fame in Nollywood movies and earned her several awards and nominations in the Nigerian movie industry.
She has acted a number of Nollywood movies some of which include Festival of Fire, Vuga, The President’s Daughter, Veno, Suicide Mission, Queen of the Night, Dirty Game, Slave Warrior, Full Moon, Maximum Risk, Most Wanted and several others.
Regina is a beautiful woman. She contested in other Pageants, the most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria and Miss International Pageant in 1988 respectively and she emerged the 2nd runner up at the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) contest. She eventually became the title holder on the resignation of Bianca Onoh, who had maintained the title before then.

Regina Askia married to an American Citizen, Rudolph ‘Rudy’ Williams and the marriage is blessed with two children namely Teesa Olympia and Rudolph Junior.
She is also believed to have had a daughter in her previous relationship named Stephanie Hornecker.
