He was born on the 11^th of January 1984 in Abia State. He is the second child in a family of four children. He is handsome, creative and popular actor who is known to play the role of lover boy in most romantic movies.

Ogbonna had his primary and secondary education in Lagos state where he obtained his first and secondary school certificates respectively.
