Genny Uzoma is a popular Nigerian actress, writer, model, entrepreneur and movie producer.
She was born and bred up in Enugu state, the date and year of her birth not known. She hails from Imo State in south eastern Nigeria.
Educational Background
Uzoma had her primary and secondary education in Enugu state where she obtained her first and secondary school certificates respectively. She later went to Enugu State University, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
Her Acting Career
Uzoma began her acting career at the age of 18 after registering with the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Enugu Chapter.
She temporary quitted acting when she got a job with a telecommunication company. She subsequently resigned from the job and returned fully to acting. She has acted in a number of Nollywood movies.
She revealed that the journey into acting was not rosy as she had a humble beginning, stating that she had to borrow money to register as a true actress since her parents were not in full support of her choice of an actress. Since she was bent on succeeding, she was not distracted. It was only a matter of time and courage.
In February 2019, Uzoma set up her movie production career and set up a company known as Zina Studios. She has successfully produced two movies titled Jemima the Trophy wife and an Igbo indigenous movie titled Nkiruka.
Uzoma is beautiful, creative, skillful and exceptionally talented Nollywood actress. She is good at interpreting movie roles and can as well accept any character assigned her by movie producers.
