Motilola Akinlami Adekunle is her real full name but widely known as Motilola Adekunle by her stage name. She is a full-time Nollywood actress, scriptwriter and producer.
Motilola was born on the 21st of January, 1980 in Ondo State. She grew up with her mother after the death of her father, Chief Bamikole Akinlami in 1991. She hails from Ondo Town, in south western Nigeria.
Motilola’s Educational Background
She started her primary education at St. Raphael kiddies School, Akure. She moved to Omole Nursery and Primary school also in Akure where she finished her primary education. She later attended St. Louis Girls Grammar school and eventually obtained her first and secondary school certificates respectively.
Motilola holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Obafemi Awolowo university Ile-Ife in Osun State. She speaks English and Yoruba languages.

Motilola started acting dated back to her secondary school days as a stage play performer.
She began acting professionally in the year 2000, with Soap Opera. Her first movie was Basorun gaa, shot in the town of Jago, produced by Adebayo Faleti.
Motilola also played the role of Bimpe in the Soap Opera ‘Share of the sun’, produced by the HANDEF a pet project of Mrs Segun Agagu wife of the former Ondo state governor.
However, she was the troublesome Ada in Valley between. Her first Yoruba lead role movie was Imo, produced by Kunle Afod.
