Safiya Musa is a popular Kannywood actress and philanthropist known for her role in the movie, ‘Madadi’.
She was born on September 5, 1985 into the family of Musa Garkida, an ex-military man and Hajiya Hadiza Musa (Anna), a professional Nurse from Mali. Safiya hails from Unguwar Shanu, Badarawa Local Government Area of Kaduna state, Nigeria.
Safiya is the 34th child in a loving family of 36 children and she revealed she had so much fun while growing up.
Safiya had her primary education at Command Children Nursery and Primary School and Queen Amina College both in Kaduna respectively.
She also obtained a Diploma in Mass Communication from Kaduna State Polytechnic.
Her Acting Career
Safiya Musa started acting at an early age after watching ‘Khusfi’, an interesting Hausa movie by FKD productions.
Safiya was shot to limelight for her exceptional performance in the movie “Madadi”.

Her Personal Life
Safiya Musa got married to Abdullahi Yakubu Dankumbo, a businessman based in Zaria, Kaduna State on February 15, 2013 at her father’s residence in Garkida, Adamawa state.
The couple is blessed with three children, two boys and a girl.
