She was born on the 2nd of October in Delta State. She hails from Enugu State in the south eastern Nigeria.

Tina had her primary and secondary education in Delta State. After obtaining her primary and secondary school certificates respectively, she relocated to Lagos for full time acting profession.

Tina Mba who began acting in a stage drama in 1989 titled “As You Like It” by Shakespare eventually made it to the top owing to her brilliant performances in acting.
She featured in a popular movie, Isoken a movie that shot her to fame and recognition in Nollywood. The same movie fetched her nomination for Africa Movie Academy Award for Best actress in a supporting role at the 7th African Movie Academy Awards.

In 2016, Tina acted another movie Ufuoma, a romantic drama directed by Ikechukwu Onyeka.
