He was born into a Christian family in Mbaise, Imo State. He hails from Ezinifite, a community in Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State. He had his up-bringing in Surulere, Lagos.
Osuagwu had his primary and secondary education in Surulere in Lagos state for his first and secondary school certificates respectively.
He later went to the University of Port Harcourt to have a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts.
His Acting Career
Victor Osuagwu made his entry into Nollywood in 1994 and acted his first movie, “Evil Passion”, a movie that shot him to fame and recognition in Nollywood.
The movie was very successful and earned him a nomination for Best new actor in a comedy at the African Viewers Choice Awards.
Osuagwu has since starred in over 100 Nollywood movies, some of which include:

Osuagwu was the former Chairman of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Lagos State Chapter.
He also holds a Chieftaincy title in his hometown as the Ochibundu 1 of Udo Ancient Kingdom of Ezinifite village in Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.
Victor Osuagwu was named 2015 Ambassador for Nigerian telecommunication giant, Glo.
His Personal Life
Osuagwu got married to the love of his life, Roseline Nchelem in 2014 after 16 years of courtship. The union is blessed with four lovely children, two boys and two girls.
