Ypee was born on June 18 1996 in Kumasi, Ghana. He grew up in his popular home town, Kumasi in Ghana.
Ypee’s Educational Background
Ypee had his elementary education in Kumasi, Ghana.
He later obtained his secondary certificate at Opoku Ware School also in Kumasi Ghana in 2014.
Upon graduation from secondary school, Ypee settled for music, a profession he had a strong passion for since childhood.

Ypee kick-started his music career dated back to his days in the secondary school.
He became widely and professionally known immediately after graduation from secondary school and has since made a significant impact in the Ghanaian music industry.

The song was a huge success as it featured top Ghanaian rapper and musician, Sarkodie.

The concert was also a success and had a great number of regulars and VIPs in attendance with over 15,000 people in attendance.
In December 2017, Ypee launched his debut album titled, ‘Survival’ in Kumasi, Ghana. The album-launch was attended by several Ghanaian artists including Samini and Joey B.
