Derrick Osei Kuffour Prempeh is his real full name, also widely and popularly known as Kofi Jamar.
He is a famous Ghanaian rapper, singer and songwriter who has made significant impact in his country’s music industry.
Kofi was born on April 7,1995 in Bantama in the Ashanti region of Ghana. He grew up in Bantama, Ghana where he had his elementary and higher education respectively.

Kofi made his entry into the music world at a very young age of 18, when he entered into a freestyle rap competition organized by a top Ghanaian radio station based in Kumasi.
Kofi won the competition and was crowned the best rapper in the Kumasi area of Ghana, alongside top Ghanaian music and rap industry Strongman (rapper) and Ypee.
He became widely and professionally known as a rapper in 2019 and made his debut in a hit song, ‘Roll-On’. He has since made tremendous progress in the Ghanaian entertainment industry.
Kofi’s genre of music is drill music, rap and hip pop.
He has so far performed at various concerts including:

He has also done good cover of Johnny, a song released by the well-known Nigerian female artiste, Yemi Alade.
He remixed this cover with the Ghanaian rapper, Obey. The remix was a huge success and made Kofi a household name in Ghana.
The remix was widely adjudged one of the most promising artistes in the Ashanti region of Ghana but unfortunately for the lack of financial support and proper advertisement, he could not meet the high expectations of his fans.
In 2018, he was signed by a Ghanaian-based Virginian record label called, Gardone Records.
