Junior Boy was born on September 23rd in the Ebute Meta area of Lagos State. He grew up in a family of four children and hails from Lagos State, Nigeria. The parents, we learnt got separated at his early years of his growing up, but reunited when Junior Boy eventually had a break in the music profession.

Junior Boy became professionally known in music when he released his first single, “Money” as a struggling artiste. The song was a big hit and received wide acceptance from both music lovers and top music stars in Nigeria.

The talented music artiste later dropped another song, “Irapada”, a music that was widely adjudged to be fantastic and shot him to global recognition.

Junior Boy has since remained a force to reckon with in the music industry and his popularity grew unimaginably. The song also gave him the needed attention from top Nigerian artiste 9ice, who offered to be on the remix and the remix promoted the song and Junior Boy’s career even further and increased his fan base tremendously.

“Irapada” has since its release, received massive airplay on radio and television stations across Nigeria, thereby making Junior Boy one of the much talked about Nigerian Afro pop singers.

Junior Boy also got a management deal with Swerve Innercity, a video to “Irapada”, featuring 9ice. The video was shot and directed by Unlimited LA under Swerve Innercity.

In 2017, Junior Boy got a whooping multi-million Naira deal with Obimzy Records.

He currently signed to record labels, Júnior Boy 4400, TiDT Inc, TiDT Inc./RSG.

Junior Boy’s work has received wide recognition. He got nominated for the Rookie of The Year alongside Peruzzi. He was also nominated for Artist of The Year at the Top Naija Music Awards.
