Jahmiel is a popularly known young talented Jamaican raggae artiste.

He was born August 30, 1992, in Portmore, a bustling city of Kingston, Jamaica with a rich musical talents. He grew up in Portmore, Jamaica where he attended the Jose Marti Technical High School.

 

Jahmiel Music Career

Jahmiel’s journey into the music world began at a very young age of four.

He became professionally known when he started giving his first performances at seven and recording for some of Jamaica’s top producers.

Jahmiel revealed that he was greatly influenced by the likes of Bob Marley, Buju Banton, and Sizzla Kalonji and he set out to create timeless songs using words and sounds that empower the human spirit significantly.

Jahmiel nurtured a relationship with Jamie and Ahkeem Roberts of Young Vibez Production and he was later signed to Shocking Vibez under the management of Patrick Roberts between 2009 and 2013.

Jahmiel was guest performer at United Negro Improvement Association formed by Marcus Garvey, on the invitation of Prime Minister of Jamaica.

In May 2014, Jahmiel was also guest speaker alongside Jasmine Rand, Trayvon Martin in May, 2014, providing an inspirational message from a young youth looking to persevere beyond all obstacles.

In the same year 2014, Jahmiel later released his Mission EP, which featured the hit song “Real Father” produced by Notnice Records.

Jahmiel has so far released good number of hit tunes, most notably:

• Life Lessons, among many others.

Jahmiel also has good number of albums to his credit, among them: Legend, Jahmel, Great Man, Timeless, Reflections and others.

In 2015, his breakout hit, “Gain The World,” produced by the little-known production team at Quantanium Records, shot Jahmiel to new heights in the reggae industry, a song which is a reflection about people who sell their souls for success and the need to resist material temptations.

“Gain The World” is also a teacher of loyalty over luxury, setting a new standard or pace for songwriting within this generation of Jamaica’s dancehall.

The talented raggae star is signed to a record label, Patriotz Muzik – Quantanium Records.

Jahmiel is indeed a force to reckon with in the reggae world. He has shown to the world that the road to “overnight success” is always longer than it seems. That we must learn to accept the fact that the journey to success is not always straight forward, but in most cases require perseverance and determination.
