Manaka Ranaka is a popular South African actress and TV personality, known for her roles in Generations: The Legacy, South African soap opera.
Manaka was born 6th April 1979 in Soweto to the parents of Kgotlaesele and Nonceba Ranaka in South Africa. She grew up alongside four siblings: Dineo Ranaka, Mpumi Ranaka, Ranaka Ranaka, Ziggy Ranaka respectively.

Manaka’s Acting Career
Manaka began her acting career in 2000 when she made her acting debut in the SABC 3 Soap Opera Isidingo, where she played the role of Nandipha Sithole.

Later that year, she was cast in the SABC1 Vinolia Ntuli as Tshia, a supporting part.
In 2007, Manaka Ranaka won the South African Film and Television Award (SAFTA) for Best Actress in a Television Comedy.
Her Personal Life
Manama Ranaka is happily married to a South African husband, named Thabo Monareng and their marriage is blessed with three children, namely Katlego, Naledi and Sibongiseni respectively.
At a later interview, Manaka revealed that her past experience had taught her to deal with children by employing moral suasion rather than brutalizing them. She said her past was marked with bitter experiences and would not subscribe to that in nurturing a child.
She recalled how her mother would whip her with lines and belts as a way of correcting her and concluded it was not the best way to bring up a child.
Manaka is very creative and talented actress. She has proved to the world, especially African continent that the use of brutality in bringing up a child is not the best and must be jettisoned.
