Ibrahim Yekini, also widely and fondly called (Itele d’icon) is a popular award-winning Nollywood actor, writer, producer and director, known for a hit movie, ‘The Return of Kesari’ in 2019.
He was born on January 1, 1980 in Kano but hails from Lafenwa, Abeokuta North in Ogun State Nigeria. Ibrahim Yekini grew up in the city of Kano State
Educational Background
Itele had his primary education at Zawaye Primary school and Ahmadiyan secondary school, both in Kano State respectively. He later graduated from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
He has since relocated to Lagos, taking exceptional roles in Yoruba movies.

Itele D’Icon kick-started his acting career in Iju Ishaga area of Lagos State where he enrolled as an apprentice with the Folorunsho Adejobi Theatre Group in 1998.
He acted his first Nollywood Yoruba movie, “Dapo Tori Ti E”, where he featured as a criminal in the year 2000.
