Udoka Chigozie Oku is his birth name, but widely and professionally known as Selebobo. He is a popularly known talented Nigerian singer and songwriter formerly signed to Made Men Music Group.
He was born on July 29, 1992. He hails from Ukpo Uranto community in Donukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State but grew up in Enugu State in south eastern Nigeria. He is the eleventh child in a family of twelve children. His father, Goddy Oku, was a guitarist and musician who played during local shows in the 1970s.
Selebobo coming from the family of music background, provided him the opportunity to learn many instruments like guitar and prepared him for music proper with his father’s studio, ‘Godiac Studio’ in Enugu as his take off point. At a young age of twelve, he started to produce music on his keyboard.

Selebobo had his primary and secondary education in Enugu State respectively.
He later bagged a Bachelor’s degree in Fine and Applied Arts from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, in Awka, Anambra State.

Selebobo began his music career as a song writer and producer, entertaining at various shows and event centres.
He became professionally recognized in 2013 when he successfully released his hit single, “Yoyo”, featuring J. Martins. Soon after, he joined Tekno, Iyanya, and Emma Nyra in being signed to the Made Men Music Group (MMMG) record label.
