DJ Nana with the full name, Nanayate Abedoh, is one the famous Nigerian female Afrobeats DJs and media personality who has gone through the hard knocks of life to gain wide recognition.
She was born on 14 May 1990 in Kogi State, Nigeria.

DJ Nana attended LEA Primary School, Wuse 2, Abuja and Saint Joseph Secondary School in Lagos. DJ Nana sat for the secondary school leaving examination at Logic High School Alagbado in Lagos.

DJ Nana started off as a dancer. She narrated she was a dancer all through her secondary school days.

Speaking about the lucrative nature of her career, she noted that “I do well and just like every other profession I’m doing well and my choice of career is lucrative enough for me, as humans we always strive and want more but I’m really not wide eyed. I’m very comfortable and so far pay my bills comfortably from what I do.”
DJ Nana also revealed that her highest achievement in the entertainment industry as “Deejaying has helped her to build a life and encourage the younger female aspirants not be distracted. She has no regret doing the job which have been able to pay her bills and came up with the concept of ‘DJ Nana Power Talk, and Spin with Nana’.
She concluded, “I love mind games and tongue twisters. The latter helps you think on your feet. I was really looking forward to becoming a lawyer before the disc jockeying thing came along. I’m talkative and I love to argue and that points to the fact that I would have been a good lawyer”.
