Nomuzi Mabena is her real name, widely and professionally known as Moozlie.
She is a beautiful and talented South African female rapper, humanitarian and song writer who has made a big name for herself in the music industry across the globe.

Moozlie was born on September 22 1992 in Benoni, South Africa. She revealed that she was close to her parents, who she described as very instrumental to her success in music career.

Moozlie had her elementary and secondary education at St. Dunstan’s College in her home town respectively. She later graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences in one of the Universities in South Africa.
Moozlie became a household name when she won the MTV Base VJ Search in 2012 and later on became the runner up for the SABC 1 Live presenter search.

Controversy

Like any other being on earth, Moozlie has also had a fair of controversy. She was said to have faked a car accident in partnership with Volkswagen SA and Dry Drive, a Diageo South Africa initiative.

She posted a video whereby she was line on her Instagram whilst driving. In the video, Moozlie then got involved in accident for all to see. Many fans and users were worried about her safety, since no statement was given immediately after the accident. It later came out that the video was staged to enlighten the public the dangers of using phone while driving.

Her Humanitarian Work

Moozlie has worked with ‘The Ithemba Rape and Crisis Centre’, a platform created for the empowerment and well-being of women and children in her neighbourhood of Benoni.
She has also done remarkably well in charity work for children at Sibonelo Intermediary School.

Her Personal Life

Moozlie is not yet married. She is said to be in a romantic relationship with a man known as Sbuda Roc, her manager. The two lovers shared their video post on instagram in 2018 sharing a kiss. The video later got deleted.
Prior to this development, Moozlie was said to have dated a South African actor, Thomas Gumede.
