Biography and Net Worth of Mama G

 Patience Ozokwor is a Nollywood actress popularly known as Mama G was born September 14, 1958 Amaobo, Ngwo, Enugu State, Nigeria. She is a veteran Actress and skillful in music, fashion designing and gospel songs.

 

Her Early life

Mama G went to Abimbola Gibson Memorial School in Lagos. She later attended Institute of management and technology Enugu, where she bagged a degree in Fine and Applied Arts. Her talents in acting started in primary school, where she would act in different stage plays.

Before making it the limelight of acting, Mama G was already a star to be reckoned with. She was into radio drama and later took part in a soap opera by the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) titled Someone Cares.

 

After her role in “The Generals” movie, Mama G has become a popular face to Nollywood movies lovers and admirers in Nigeria and across the world. She has made many appearances in the movie industry in Nigeria and beyond and has recently added a new grand child to her list of grand children now numbering about 16 to her grand children.

 

She was married at an early age of 19 and has three biological children and five adopted ones who we learnt, all bear her name. sadly, she lost her husband in the year 2000.

A lot have been said about mama G as someone doing what she knows how to do best as the belief is ripe that she will feature in the coming of the movie “The Wedding Party 2”.

She has won several  awards including the Best Supporting Actress award at the 10th Africa Movie Academy Awards.

Ozokwor was among the 100 Nigerians who received honour from the Federal government of Nigeria to celebrate the amalgamation of the northern and southern protectorates in 2014.
