Eucharia Anunobi is her real name. She is a Nigerian popular actress, producer, director and a Pastor widely known and addressed as Eucharia.
She was born on the 25th of May 1965 in Owerri, Imo State in south eastern Nigeria. She is from Owerri, Imo State.
Eucharia had her primary and secondary education in Owerri, Imo State where she obtained her first and secondary school certificates respectively. She then went to the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu and obtained National Diploma in Mass Communication. She later went to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, also in Enugu where she bagged a Bachelor’s degree in English Language. She has since remained active and prominent in the movie industry.
Her Acting Career
Eucharia joined the Nigerian Movie Industry in 1993. She featured in a number of movies and subsequently became famous in acting.
In 1994, she starred in another blockbuster movie, “Glamour Girls”, a movie that shot her to fame.
She became more prominent in Nollywood and the much talked about actress in Nigeria bringing global recognition to our local movies which before then was not given the much attention.
She again featured in another blockbuster movie titled “Abuja Connection”, directed by Michael Ezeanyaeche and featured top Nollywood stars like Ngozi Ezeonu, Chioma Okoye, Ekema Ani Clarion Chukwura, Enebeli Elebuwa among others. This same movie did not only make her popular, but earned her an award for Best actress in a leading role at the African Movie Academy Awards.
Eucharia is a strong Nollywood actress, very talented, skillful and gifted in interpreting movie roles. She can as well take or accept any character assigned her by movie directors and producers in the industry. She is known to cry in most romantic and tragic movies.

Her Personal Life
Eucharia got married to Charles Ekwu in December 2000 but the marriage was short live as it ended in divorce. She was said to have had a son out of wedlock named Raymond and the son died at the age of fifteen in August 2017, due to complication from sickle cell anemia.
Again, this veteran has quitted acting for the work of God, evangelizing and winning souls for Christ. Eucharia is now a born again Christian and was ordained in a local church named Fresh Oil Ministry International Church in Egbeda, Lagos.
