Comedian Tee-A: Biography And Net Worth

Babatunde Adewale is his real name but professionally known and widely addressed as Tee A. He is a Nigerian Comedian, Master of Ceremonies, Television personality, Show host and Content Producer.

Tee-A was born on the 19^th of December, 1974 in Lagos State in south western Nigeria.  He is skillful, talented and exceptionally gifted in comedy.

 

Educational Background

Tee-A had his primary school education in St. Paul’s Anglican primary school Idi Oro. Muslin, Lagos and later Freeman High School Surulere Lagos State. After obtaining the usual first and secondary school certificates respectively, he  then went the University of Lagos Akoka Yaba Lagos where he graduated in Linguistics. He later went to American Comedy Institute ACI, New York.

 

His Career

He began his career at a tender age, precisely  during his JSS Class then in his secondary school days.  He however started out as a standup comedian as an undergraduate in University of Lagos in 1995.

 

Tee-A had Alibaba Akpobome a veteran and a Father of comedy in Nigeria as his mentor. He met him in 1996 and became further inspired to pursue a full-time career in comedy and in the entertainment industry. Since then, he has built on his skills and became the much talked about  comedian in Nigeria.

Nigerian comic Tee-A, has held various popular shows like “Tymeout with Tee-A.” He has made a name for himself as a clean, corporate-friendly comedian and an entrepreneur, with several lucrative businesses such as event planning across some city states.

Tee-A tremendous performance at different shows have given him the much interest in the comedy business to  feature in subsequent comedy shows. He has performed alongside other comedians, such as I AY, Alibaba, Go Dye, I Go Save, Basketmouth, Gordons, and Bovi, among others.

Tee-A is happily married with children. In 2017, he marked his twelfth year wedding anniversary, graced by celebrities in the industry across the country.
