Uru Eke, whose real full name is Uru Kalanwa Eke is a famous Nigerian actress, producer, television personality and model.
She was born on the 11th of October 1979 in Newham, East London in the United Kingdom.
She is a twin and a native of Mbaise, a community in Imo State in south eastern Nigeria.
Educational Background
Uru Eke had her primary education at the famous Galeywall Infants school in the United Kingdom and obtained her first school leaving certificate. She relocated to Nigeria for her secondary education and attended Baptist Girls College in Lagos where she had her secondary school certificate.
She went back to the United Kingdom where she briefly attended Lewishman Southwark College and later the University of Greenwich in the United Kingdom where she bagged a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology.
After graduation, she had the opportunity to work with IT Consultant at Zurich Insurance Group and other financial and multinational organizations also in the United Kingdom before returning to Nigeria.

Uru Eke joined the Nigerian Movie Industry (Nollywood) in 2011 upon relocating to Nigeria. She kick-started acting as an actress before entering movie production. She acted a hit movie “Remember Me”, a movie she wrote, produced and featured in.
Uru is creative, exceptionally talented and gifted in acting and interpreting movie roles. She accepts any character assigned her by movie producers and directors in the industry.
