Alex Okoroji whose real name is Alexandra Adaeze is a famous Nigerian actress, radio host, public speaker, author, mentor, television personality and a philanthropist.
She was born on the 10th of March 1984 in Lagos. Alex had her up-bringing in Lagos. She is the first daughter and child of Tony Okoroji and Queen Okoroji in a family of six children.
Alex Okoroji had her primary education at St. Leo Catholic Primary school, Ikeja, Lagos and Federal Government Girls College in Ikeja Lagos and finally at Tender Touch School in Festac Town, Lagos where she obtained her first and secondary school certificates respectively. Since then, she has been very active and made meaningful impacts to the development of entertainment industry in Nigeria and beyond.
Alex Okoroji began her acting career in 2005 on television series. She became more prominent when she featured in the maiden edition of the television reality show Amstel Malta Box Office (AMBO) in 2005.
She featured in her first movie “Calabar Girl”, a movie that shot her to fame in Nollywood. She played a supporting role in the movie alongside popular stars like Annie Macauley Idibia, Kunle Koker and Femi Brainard.
She has featured in a number of television programme ranging from TV Soap Opera “Heavens Gate”, host for segment “Fitness at Your Finger Tips” on African Magic as well as presenter of Daytime programme “Mega Vision” on Nigerian Television Authority in 2008.

Alex Okoroji got married to one Ghanaian top actor and former Tinsel co-star, Omar Shariff Captan. The wedding ceremony was said to have taken place in Lagos in 2010, but not without controversy on social media all because of her long relationship with top Nollywood actor Kalu Ikeagwu who her fans eagerly looked up as her husband to be.
The marriage to Ghanaian actor produced a son named Ray Okoroji Captan but sadly ended in divorce after about two years of marriage.
