Stella Damasus is an award winning Nigerian actress, producer, singer, television personality and a model.
She was born on the 24th of April 1998 in Benin City, Edo State Nigeria. She grew up in Benin City with her siblings before relocating with her family to Asaba, Delta State. She hails from Delta State in the south southern Nigeria.
Stella had her primary education in Benin City. She later moved with her family to Asaba, Delta State where she completed her secondary education and obtained her secondary school certificate.
She later went to the University of Lagos to have a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts.
Stella began her career in music before going into full time acting. As a singer, she used to work at the popular Klink Studio owned by a Nigerian filmmaker, Kingsley Ogoro. This is where she had the bulk of experience in music which eventually launched her to do vocals for top jingles on radio and television commercials in Nigeria.
She joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) in 1992 and acted her first movie “Abused”. She however rose to recognition in Nollywood after starring in a hit movie “Breaking Point”. The movie was produced by Emem Isong and directed by Francis Agu.
The movie was very successful with huge commercial sales. The same movie earned her an award for Best actress in Nigeria at the African Movie Academy Awards.
Stella is a multi-talented and gifted Nollywood actress who knows how to play any role assigned her by movie producers and directors in the industry.
She is a prolific actress who has acted over 150 movies since joining Nollywood. Some of her movies include Emotional Pain, Bad Boys, Missing Angel, Kings Pride, Above Love, Burning Desire, Dangerous Twins, Wheel of Change, The Messenger, Dangerous Desire, The Intruder among others.

- 2007 Best actress in Nigeria at the Nigerian Entertainment Awards.
- 2012 Best actress of the year at the Golden Icons Academy Awards in Houston, Texas, USA for role in a movie “Two Birds And A Baby”.

Her Personal Life
Stella Damasus marital life has met with challenges. First, she got married to her first husband Jaiye Aboderin in 1999. The marriage produced two daughters named Isabelle and Angelica. The unfortunate death of Jaiye ended that marriage.
She again married in 2007 to Emeka Nzeribe but the marriage ended up in divorce after seven months owing to an undisclosed issues that characterized the marriage.
She again entered into another relationship with Daniel Ademinokun, a Nollywood producer, director and multiple award-winner and this eventually blossomed into marrying him. The marriage has since remained peaceful with Stella confessing that Daniel is the love of her life.
