Blossom Chukwujekwu whose real full name is Chukwudi Echezona Blossom Chukwujekwu is a renowned Nigerian actor, television personality and a model.
He was born on the 4th of November 1983 in Benin City, Edo State. He is first son in a family of two children and he hails from Otolo, Nnewi North in Anambra State.
Educational Background
Blossom had his primary and secondary education in Greater Tomorrow School and Greater Tomorrow Comprehensive College both in GRA Benin City, Edo State where he obtained his first and secondary school certificates respectively.
He later went to Anambra state University of Science and Technology to have a degree in Mass Communication. But he spent just one year and finally completed his degree programme in Mass Communication in Benson Idahosa University also in Benin City, Edo State in July 2008.
His Acting Career
Blossom began his acting profession in his University days at the Benson Idahosa University. He was an active member of the popular House of Theatre of the University, where he played a lead role in a stage drama “Godless”.
He joined the Nigerian Movie Industry (Nollywood) after the mandatory NYSC programme in Lagos after which he settled for his full time acting career.
He finally took a lead role in a popular Nigerian Soap Opera “Portrait of Passion” in 2009 after attending series of audition in Lagos.
That same year, Blossom became more famous after starring in a movie “Private Storm”, a movie he acted alongside Nollywood stars like Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and Ramsey Noah.
Blossom has acted in over 100 Nollywood movies, some of which include Finding Mercy, The Visit, Knocking on the Heaven’s Door, A Place Called Happy and Ghana Must Go in company of a popular Ghanaian actress Yvonne Okoro.
He has equally featured in a number of television drama series, some of which are Tinsel, My Mum and I, About to Wed and Married, Shuga and others.
He also played a lead role in an indigenous Telenovella “Taste of Love” in the year 2015.
Blossom Chukwujekwu is exceptionally talented and gifted in acting and interpreting movie roles. He has acted a number of successful movies like the Flower Girl, released in 2013. The movie recorded huge commercial sales in Nigeria, Ghana, U.K. USA and Canada.
Other movies include Finding Mercy and Knocking on the Heavens’ Door which was freely played in Cinemas nationwide in 2014. The same movie earned him an award as the best actor of the year at the African Magic Viewers Choice Awards.
