Chiege Alisigwe is a popular Nigerian actress, model, television personality and a philanthropist.
She was born in Orlu, Imo State in South eastern Nigeria. She is a true indigene of Umueshigwe in Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State. She is the last child in a family of seven children and had her up-bringing in Enugu State.
Educational Background
Chiege had her primary and secondary education in Queens School in Enugu). After obtaining her first and secondary school certificates respectively, she went to Oko Polytechnics in Anambra State to have Ordinary National Diploma in Fine and Applied Arts.
She went further to Institute of Management of Science and Technology in Enugu where she bagged a Higher National Diploma in same discipline. Her passion for acting began in her secondary school days when she was a member of the Dramatic Society.

Chiege Alisigwe joined Nollywood in 1998 after she was introduced by a friend Kelvin Ugwu, a broadcaster and an actor. She acted her first ever movie Igodo, where she played the role of Agu’s wife.
She again acted another hit movie, “My Love” alongside Ramsey Noah, a movie that shot her to fame and recognition in Nollywood.
She is beautiful, creative, skillful and highly talented Nollywood actress. She knows how to interpret movie roles and can as well fit into any character assigned her in most movies.

The reason for the divorce she blamed on incompatibility. She is said to have remarried and had a son with the new husband named Munachimsoaga.
Chiege Alisigwe set up a non-governmental organization (NGO) to create awareness of deadly diseases and helping the less priviledged with disabilities.
