Saheed Balogun, whose real full name is Saidi Kolawole Alabi Balogun is a renowned Nigerian actor, producer, director and film maker.
He was born on the 5th of February, 1967 in Kwara State in the North Central Nigeria to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Balogun. He hails from Oyo State Nigeria.
Educational Background
Saheed had his primary and secondary education in Kwara state where he obtained his first and secondary school certificates respectively.
He later went to Kwara state Polytechnics, now Kwara state University to bag a degree. He has since remained active and relevant in Nollywood.
His Acting Career
Saheed Balogun joined the Nigerian Movie Industry, (Nollywood) in 1978. He presented his first television series “Youth Today” on Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
He again made his debut movie “City Girl”, a movie that shot him to fame and recognition in Nollywood.
He has since featured, produced and directed a number of hit Nollywood movies including Family On Fire, Ofin Mose, Third Party and several others.
He is creative, skillful and exceptionally talented actor. He knows to interpret movie roles and can as well accept any character assigned him in the industry.

Saheed Balogun has had a number of unstable relationships. He married Fathia Balogun, a veteran Nollywood actress but now his ex-wife due to reasons best known to them. However, the union is blessed with two children named Khalid and Aaliyah Balogun.
He again entered into another relationship with a Nollywood actress Funke Adesiyan which was only a matter of few months as the relationship came to an abrupt end. Funke later attributed the failure to ‘domestic assault’.
