Chioma Omeruah, widely known as Chigul is a popular Nigerian stand-up comedian, actress, singer, model and television personality.
She was born on the 14th of May, 1976 in Ikeja Lagos state to Igbo father, Air Commodore Samson Omeruah.

Educational Background
Chioma had primary education in Lagos before attending Airforce Secondary school in Jos, Plateau state and Airforce secondary school, Lagos where she obtained her first and secondary school certificates respectively.
She later went to a University in Nigeria briefly before leaving to study abroad. On her father’s request, she enrolled for Criminal Justice in a University in United States. Faced with the difficulty of study, she abandoned the course after two years for French Education course at Delaware University in United States.

Her Acting Career
Chioma Omeruah returned to Nigeria after twelve years of sojourn abroad to join Nollywood as a comic actress.
She acted her first movie “Road to Yesterday”, produced in 2015.
She acted another hit movie in 2017 “The Wedding Party” alongside the big stars in the industry like Jide Kosoko, Adesuwa Etomi, Banky W and others.
She is creative and highly talented comic actress. She is gifted in the interpretation of movie roles and she does it well. She can as well fit into any character given to her by movie producers and directors in the industry.
She has acted a number of Nollywood movies, some of which include:
• Banana Island Ghost
• Wedding Party
• Road to Yesterday
Chioma is a bi-linguist. She can speak various languages – Yoruba, Igbo, French, Hausa and English. This rare achievement gives her an advantage over her counterparts in the industry as Nollywood producers and directors prefer to assign her movie roles.
