He was born in Lagos, date and birth not known, to an Aircraft Engineer father Adeyemi Okanlawon and his mother Adeyinka Okanlawon, a baker and an entrepreneur.
Deyemi had his primary education at the Taikeeny Nursery and Primary school and secondary education at the International School in Lagos.
He later went to the University of Lagos to have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
Upon graduation, Deyemi worked briefly as a baker, sales and marketing executive before proceeding to New York Film Academy to have a certificate in Acting for Film.
His Acting Career
Deyemi Okanlawon made his entry into acting dated back to his primary school days at a tender age of 5 years when he used to act drama and play at the end of year party.
While in the University of Lagos, he was a member of the drama group and featured in a nationality syndicated television commercial with Kunle Bamitefa.
He joined Nollywood in 2010 and has since made several appearances in a number of movies. Some of his movies include:
