Osariemen Martha Elizabeth Ighodaro is simply and widely known as Osas Ighodaro. She is a Nigerian American actress, producer, host and a philanthropist.
Osas was born on the 26th of October, the year of her birth not known in Bronx, New York, United States, to Nigerian parents from Edo State.
Osas Educational Background
Osas obtained her first degree in broadcasting journalism with dual minors in entrepreneurship and theater from Pennsylvania State University.
She further obtained a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts from the Actors Studio Drama School, at Pace University, also in the USA.
Osas Career
Osas began her entertainment career when she visited Nigeria in 2012 with plans to spend just six months and return to the United States. She however got other jobs, along with Tinsel and had since stayed put engaging in various entertainment shows and concerts in Nigeria.
She hosted the Maltina Dance All Reality show. She is the founder of the Joyful Joy Foundation and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
In 2010, Osas won the Miss Black USA Pageant and founded The Joyful Joy Foundation, raising funds and awareness towards the fight against Malaria in Nigeria and Africa in general.
The beautiful, hardworking and versatile young Nigerian co-hosted the 2014 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards. She played the role of Adanna (Danni) on the Soap Opera Tinsel, and won Best TV Actress of the Year at the 2014 ELOY Awards.
