He was born on the 21st of July, 1964 in Mushin area of Lagos state. Ladi comes from a family of seven children, six boys and a girl. He hails from Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State in south western Nigeria.
Ladi Folarin had his primary and secondary education at Oyewoye primary school, Idi Olow, Mushin in Lagos and St. Peters College, Abeokuta, Ogun State where he obtained his first and secondary school certificates respectively.
He later went to the United Kingdom (UK) in 1986 where he graduated at the International School for Business and Marketing. Since graduation and returning to Nigeria, Ladi has remained active and relevant in the movie industry.
His Acting Career
Ladi Folarin began acting and movie production in 2003 after joining a media group known as Future Concept Creative Art School, where he had training in acting in the year 2000.
He had since starred in several Nollywood movies, mainly Yoruba genres of movie. Some of his movies include:
