Blessing Ibiang Effiom Egbe is her real full name. She is a popular Nollywood actress, script writer and a producer.
Blessing was born into a large of eight children in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. She is creative, skillful and highly talented Nollywood actress known to take any role in most movies and practice it rightly.
Blessing’s Educational Background
Blessing had her primary and secondary education in Port Harcourt for her first and secondary school certificates respectively.
She later proceeded to the University of Port Harcourt to have a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts in 2001.
Blessing’s Career
Blessing started her career as a model, a career she began with Silverbird International Fashion Show. Shortly after, she won the prestigious ECOWAS Best Model Competition in 2002.
She became more famous and was eventually launched into the World of International Modelling and thereafter settled in Cape Town, in South Africa.
The talented actress has starred in several TV commercials in the United Kingdom, United States, France, South Africa and Ireland for big products like Smart Car, Snicker’s Chocolate, Investec Bank and America Next Top Model.
In 2003, Blessing Egbe represented Nigeria at the top of model competition in Lebanon.
In her quest to diversify her earnings and attain greatness in other fields of life, she thought it wise to venture into acting and eventually enrolled at the City Varsity Film School in Cape Town, South Africa. There, she studied script writing and production.
Blessing Egbe acted her first movie, “Bleeding Heart”, a movie she played the role of a bar-maid to Ngozi Nwosu. She has since remained active and relevant in the movie industry, writing, producing and starring in her numerous works.
She acted another hit movie, “Before the Vow”. The movie was her major breakthrough and launched her to fame and recognition in Nollywood.
