Baaj was born on the 25th of October, 1988 in Jalupon Hospital in Surulere, Lagos State. He grew up in Lagos state. He hails from Ijebu Ode Local Government Area of Ogun State in South Western Nigeria. He is the last child in a family of nine children

Baaj had his primary education at Seat of Wisdom Primary School and Caleb Secondary School both in Lagos before moving to Surulere, Lagos after his parents got divorced in 2005.
He is a graduate of economics from Covenant University. He has appeared in several Nollywood movies and television series since joining Nollywood in 2010.
