She was born on the 10th of October, 1985 in Accra, Ghana.
Martha had her primary and secondary education at Adabraka Presbytarian Junior High school and Labone school in Accra, Ghana where she obtained her first and secondary school certificates respectively.
She later went to Jayee University College in Ghana for a Bachelor’s degree in marketing.
Her Acting Career
Martha made her entry into acting dated back to her days in the secondary school as a member of drama group and participated in stage plays and drama. She also joined stage dramas at Funworld and Kiddafest.
She was launched into acting professionally, in 2007 when she had auditions for the next movie stars in Ghana, a movie competition that brought out her skills, talents and creativity in acting. She was eventually picked for a role in movies.

Martha Ankomah is an entrepreneur. In 2013, she launched her Ultra-Modern Beauty Salon known as “Martha’s Place”. It is a beauty hub where services ranging from facial treatment, bridal makeup, acrylic waxing, barbing, cosmetics and pedicures and manicures are rendered.
In 2014, Martha emerged the face of Vita Milk’s Vlora and shot a commercial for the product in the Republic of Thailand.

• Nominee for Best actress of the year at the City People Entertainment Awards and African Movie Academy Awards respectively.

Martha Ankomah is a humanitarian. In 2016, she set up a charitable organization known as Martha Ankomah Foundation. The non-governmental organization partnered with Autism Ambassadors of Ghana to mark World Autism Day in Accra, Ghana and to create awareness and identify with people living with the disease.
