Temitope Osoba is her real full name but widely addressed as Tope Osoba. She is a popular Nigerian actress, movie producer and dancer.
Tope was born on December 2, 1985 in Abeokuta, Ogun state. Osoba is the first child of her parents and only child of her mother. She lost her parents at a young age and was raised by her grand parents.

Osoba had her primary and secondary education in Lagos where she obtained her first and secondary school certificates respectively.
She went further to study Business Education at Olabisi Onabanjo University in Osun State in south western Nigeria.

Osoba joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) in 2005. As fate would have it, she made her way into acting, a profession she never dreamt of going into. She was not however new in the entertainment industry as she was a Video Vixen, and a dancer.
Tope got a role in a movie, ‘Ijoya’, produced by Laide Bakare. She was coming from school one day and decided to go to Ashogbon which was actually a place actors go for rehearsals. There they found out that she was a good dancer and got a role in the movie.
Tope acted her first major movie, “Ogun Mi” in 2009, a movie that shot her to fame and recognition in the Yoruba movie industry. The movie was produced by Dayo Amusa.
