She was born on December 2, 1985 in Abeokuta, Ogun state. Osoba is the first child of her parents and only child of her mother. She lost her parents at a young age and was raised by her grand parents.
Osoba had her primary and secondary education in Lagos where she obtained her first and secondary school certificates respectively.
She went further to study Business Education at Olabisi Onabanjo University in Osun State in south western Nigeria.
Her Acting Career
Osoba joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) in 2005. As fate would have it, she made her way into acting, a profession she never dreamt of going into. She was not however new in the entertainment industry as she was a Video Vixen, and a dancer.
Tope got a role in a movie, ‘Ijoya’, produced by Laide Bakare. She was coming from school one day and decided to go to Ashogbon which was actually a place actors go for rehearsals. There they found out that she was a good dancer and got a role in the movie.
Tope acted her first major movie, “Ogun Mi” in 2009, a movie that shot her to fame and recognition in the Yoruba movie industry. The movie was produced by Dayo Amusa.
She has since starred in several other Nollywood Yoruba movies, some of which are:
• Gucci Girls
• Igboro Ti Daru
• Oga Sailor
• Oju Mi among others.
Tope is gifted and highly talented Yoruba actress known for good interpretation of roles in movies. She takes any character assigned her liberally and she does this very well. Her style of acting is loved and cherished by her numerous Yoruba and non Yoruba fans across the country.

Tope cites veteran celebrities in the likes of Bimbo Oshin, Fash Lanso and Eniola Badmus as her role models.
She is also good dancer and has featured in a number of music videos for top Nigerian music stars like Adewale Ayuba, Pasuma and Olu Maintain.

Tope Osoba is not yet married, but revealed she is into a relationship. She added that People often call her to ask about her marital status. She however said she believes in marriage and pray to God to give her the right man.
Tope got nominated for an award as Most Promising Actress of the Year (Yoruba) at the City People Movie Awards.
