Amaka Aniobi is a graduate of History and International Relations. She has since remained active and relevant in the movie industry.
Her Acting Career
Amaka Anioji began her acting career professionally when she joined Nollywood in 2004. But she left the industry and later reappeared in 2006, when she was given a role in a new movie.
Amaka finally returned in 2010 and has since remained consistent. She featured in a hit movie, ‘Till Death Do Us Part’, a 15-minute film that was nominated for an award where she played a lead role. The movie was directed by Tope Ogun.
In the movie, she played the lead character of a woman who was beaten and battered by her husband.
Her exceptional performance in the said movie gave her roles in several movies including:

• Close Friends
• Game Player in ‘Tinsel’ among others.
The highly creative and talented Nollywood superstar is known for her intriguing roles in movies. She can as well accept any character assigned her and she does this to the delight of her numerous fans who like watching her movies.
Amaka revealed that in her journey so far in the industry, the most challenging movie is, ‘Till Death Do us Part’ because it is a short feature movie where she had to go through emotional pains at the same time.
According to Amaka, the said movie was really a lot of work for her as well as exciting, such that people talked about it. She said it took her some days to get off the character.
Amaka Anioji won the Most Outstanding Actress award at the 9th edition of the Abuja international Film Festival in 2012, beating top Nollywood celebrities like Ini Edo, Funke Akindele, Nse Etim-Ikpe, Uche Jombo among others.
Her Personal Life
Amaka is not yet married but revealed that she was once into a very strong relationship. She however lost a relationship that meant a lot to her some couple of years ago owing to slight misunderstanding which could not be reconciled.
Amaka however concluded that she would prefer a valued friend to dating married men “though it can be very juicy”.
